Click Opportunities and browse the projects. Pick the one that appeals to you! Some projects are all week, some just one day. Projects fall into the following categories: kids, arts, beauty, food, sports, practical and social. When you select your project, you will be taken to a registration page where you will be asked to provide contact details and other information.

All volunteers - whether serving for the week or a day - need to come to Orientation Saturday 28 June at EPEE, rue de l'Epee 8, 1000 Brussels (next to Havana at the bottom of the outdoor lift at Place Poelaert). Orientation begins with registration at 9h00 and includes two workshops and lunch with your team. You will be asked to select two of five different workshops when you fill in the online registration form.
Make a donation!
Serve the City is supported mostly by its volunteers and funds are tight! Project costs include supplies, venue rentals, t-shirts, flyers, and insurance for all volunteers. In addition to a generous commitment of time and energy, we would like to invite each participant to make a donation of at least €10 to help cover volunteer costs. This can be by account 001-5268249-61 or in cash at registration.
Come to the Festival
Serve the City comes to an exciting climax on 5 July - sports, free haircuts and manicures, children's activities, giveaways, concerts, and a free BBQ! It all happens at Place Poelaert in front of Palais du Justice, 13h00-22h00. Every Serve the City project during the week will have opportunity to participate in and contribute to the Festival. Come to serve - and be served!
